Strategic Solution Sales Executive

As a Strategic Solution Sales Executive, you will be a quota-carrying sales representative responsible for driving growth across your solution portfolio within a defined set of strategic accounts. Partnering closely with Client Executives and account teams, you will create, shape, and win opportunities by demonstrating the business value of OpenText solutions and aligning them to client priorities.

You will identify, qualify, and develop solution-specific opportunities that support broader account strategies and business objectives. By leveraging your industry and solution expertise, you will uncover whitespace opportunities, articulate value, and help clients understand how OpenText can accelerate their transformation initiatives.

Working closely with Client Executives, Solution Consultants, Value Engineers, Professional Services, and partners, you will lead solution strategy throughout the sales cycle. You will guide opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and deal execution while ensuring strong pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy.

As a trusted advisor, you will serve as a subject matter expert for both clients and internal stakeholders. You will bring market insight, share field intelligence, and influence solution strategy while helping build momentum across complex, multi-solution opportunities.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we're happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $185,000 Plus Commission; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
