Job Description:
Lead the design and refinement of ALM processes and governance for a Global Template-based S/4HANA transformation. Own E2E process with integrations across build-test-release, define transport/release governance, shaping the entire end-to-end toolchain strategy (Signavio, SAP Solution Manager, Tosca, SAP Cloud ALM), and define monitoring strategy for ABAP, cloud, and SaaS landscapes
Roles/Responsibilities:
SAP ALM Lead for S/4HANA Transformation Project
Design/revise ALM procedures across requirements, development, change control, release/upgrade management, and test management; define how they integrate end-to-end
Define and document Transport & Release Governance for Global Template changes: release methodology, template governance, sequencing, approvals, ownership/RACI, segregation of duties, conflict & retrofit handling, and audit readiness
Define the integrated toolchain strategy and usage model across Signavio, SolMan, Tosca, and SAP Cloud ALM to enable traceability (requirement โ†’ change โ†’ transport โ†’ test โ†’ release)
Define monitoring strategy for ABAP, cloud, and SaaS: system-health, interfaces/channels, batch jobs, user activities, and end-to-end business process monitoring; define alerting, dashboards, and escalation/ownership
Produce Global Template Playbook updates and executive-ready documentation/diagrams; run workshops and drive stakeholder sign-offs
Must have
10+ years' experience in SAP ALM with hands on Project experience for driving S4HANA transformation with Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM capabilities as mentioned in above scope including Consulting, Configuration, Testing, UAT, Workshops(Requirement/UAT etc.), Documentation etc.
Must have at least 1 E2E S4HANA Transformation done with Solution Manager or Cloud capabilities like Solution Manager Focused Build or Cloud ALM for Implementation Capabilities as mentioned in scope for PHARMA customer
Must have done E2E release governance / delivery roles; strong exposure to S/4HANA transformation programs (Global Template preferred)
Proven expertise in SAP transport/release governance, change control, sequencing, approvals, SoD and audit/compliance controls.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills; excellent documentation and process/landscape diagramming capability.
