Job description

PLUMBER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plumbers will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing plumbing pipes and systems to ensure all building fixtures are operating correctly on commercial buildings.

PLUMBER JOB DUTES:

  • Inspect plumbing and pipes
  • Review blueprints and schematics-Journeyman level plumbers should be efficient
  • Follow local and state plumbing codes
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures using mechanical solder, brazing and pipe joining methods
  • Using hand, measuring and power tools common to the plumbing trade
  • Ensure installed pipes and systems pass inspections

PLUMBER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have recent experience in commercial new construction plumbing and/or renovation
  • Must have a current state-issued apprentice or journeyman plumbing license
  • Must have hand tools required for plumbing
