Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Solarwinds Admin to lead the implementation of monitoring solutions using SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) and Web Performance Monitor (WPM). The role involves designing, deploying, and overseeing the monitoring framework across servers and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the architectural design for implementing SolarWinds SAM and WPM.
• Develop a detailed monitoring strategy tailored to the organisations infrastructure, covering all servers, applications , and associated processes.
• Ensure that the architecture is scalable and optimized for performance.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of Solar Winds SAM across 100 servers.
• Evaluate and implement SolarWinds WPM to monitor web applications, including setting up synthetic transactions and performance metrics.
• Ensure the successful deployment of Orion Agents across the server environment.
• Configure and fine-tune monitoring templates for each application and associated processes.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership during the implementation phase.
• Ensure that best practices are followed during the configuration and deployment of SAM and WPM.
• Address and resolve any technical challenges that arise during the implementation process.
• Customize monitoring templates, dashboards, and reports according to the organization's needs.
• Develop and implement scripts for SolarWinds WPM to simulate user interactions with web applications.
• Create and manage scripts for synthetic transactions, ensuring they accurately reflect user behaviour and application workflows.
• Use scripting to automate repetitive tasks within the monitoring environment, improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead the testing and validation of the Solar Winds implementation to ensure accurate data collection, alerting, and reporting.
• Perform load and performance testing to confirm that the system can handle the anticipated workload.
• Work with stakeholders to validate that the implementation meets all functional requirements.
• Develop comprehensive documentation of the implemented monitoring architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to the IT team, ensuring they are equipped to manage the SolarWinds environment post-implementation.

Required:
• Specialized experience in SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM)
• Specialized experience in Web Performance Monitor (WPM)
• Experience in leading the architectural design for implementing SolarWinds SAM and WPM
