Solaris HealthCare is hiring a Laundry Aide to join our team!

Laundry Aide Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage area
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe work environment
  • Sort and process soiled linens and clothing according to established procedures
  • Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and sanitize linens and clothing
  • Inspect clean linens and clothing for stains, tears, or other damage, and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Fold, stack, and distribute clean linens and clothing to designated areas within the facility
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and support overall operations within the facility

Laundry Aide requirements 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads of laundry.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
