Job description

The NERC Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the NERC Compliance program, including evidence collection and management, implementation of internal controls, and performing compliance filings and submittals. This role will be particularly supporting Generator Owner (GO) requirements for solar generating facilities.  

Work Location: Hybrid reporting to Morrisville, NC 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support development and implementation of NERC compliance program and processes.
  • Support development and implementation of internal controls.
  • Compilation and delivery of compliance reports.
  • Performance of compliance filings and submittals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and planning abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Self-starter able to work independently without continuous oversight.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years experience in NERC GO Compliance

Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Ability to occasionally travel to solar facilities or meetings.
