Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team at Scalo Solar Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in various outdoor environments. The Solar Installer will collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality installations that meet industry standards.


We are offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for a LEAD INSTALLER and a $1,000 for an experienced Technician! Plus we pay weekly, and have an attendance BONUS, job site BONUS, and more!

Duties:

  • Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation requirements.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for fixture installation and system assembly.
  • Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work with high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues related to solar installations.
  • Collaborate with commercial electricians for complex installations requiring low voltage or high voltage expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in solar installation or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and building codes is essential.
  • Strong skills in plumbing, fixture installation, and working with power tools.
  • Knowledge of both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work at heights on roofs safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
