Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks including inspection, testing, and cleaning of machinery and equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep them in peak condition.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production flow.
  • Repairs: Repair or replace defective parts and components using hand and power tools as needed.
  • Technical Documentation: Utilize manufacturer manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents to effectively troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production operators and team members to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities using our computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training programs to stay current with new equipment and maintenance techniques.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a big plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Tool Ownership: Ability to provide your own tools for working on various manufacturing machines.
  • PLC Experience: Familiarity with PLC programs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Direct Logix).
  • Robotics Experience: Experience with ABB robotics preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Technical Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Tool Usage: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
