Architectural Wall Panel Installer
Christian Bell, Inc - Fort Wayne, IN and Indianapolis, IN area
$40,000 - $95,000/ Annual + Expenses Paid

Christian Bell Inc Inc. is seeking several ACM Installers for its Architectural Wall Panel Systems Division in the Greater Fort Wayne, IN area. This is your opportunity to join a successful growing national company. Christian Bell Inc is an Architectural Cladding division that is focused on exterior imaging of Automotive, Commercial, and other Retail buildings with Aluminum Composite Metal (ACM) and other types of Wall panel products such as Centria, terra-cotta, cement-fiber, nichiha, and much more. Projects include customers such as Ford, Lincoln, Mercedes Benz, Chevrolet, Buick GMC, and Hyundai automotive dealerships as well as Oklahoma State University, Vanderbilt University, Purdue University, and more opportunities.


Essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • 2+ years' experience installing wall panels and various cladding systems
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Operation of access equipment (scaffold systems, aerial work platforms, swing stages)
  • Experience with a variety of hand and power tools
  • Physically able to work on feet for 8-10 hours
  • Extensive travel 4-8 weeks on sites all over the United States

Qualifications:
Tech 1

  • Commercial cladding experience;
  • Read and understand shop drawings and details
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred;
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English

Tech 2

  • Industrial, Commercial cladding experience
  • Support crew leader in building layout
  • Temporarily run job in absence of crew leader
  • Ability to obtain CDL license within 6 months of hire
  • Computer Skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred;
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English

Crew Leader (Journeymen)

  • Industrial, Commercial & Residential cladding experience
  • Computer Skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Complete building layout per shop drawings
  • Supervise 2-10 team members
  • Provide workable options to unforeseen field conditions
  • Communicate with customer and GC while on site
  • CDL license
  • Completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred;
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
