Job Summary

The Panel Installer I understands basic panels construction. Also has the ability to do many activities, such as installing man doors, and the cutting of panels.

General Duties

  • Installation of insulated metal panels.
  • Keep work area clean from clutter and safety hazards.
  • Help lay underfloor insulation
  • Follows all job site safety rules.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Certified and has ability to operate Scissor lifts, boom lifts, and reach forklifts when necessary.
  • Observe and assist in the application of caulking.
  • Experience and knowledge of the installation of dock door wraps.
  • Understanding and ability to install cooler/freezer man doors.
  • Unload and stage panels at the jobsites.
  • Ability to install EPDM and base track.
  • Understanding of and ability to cut and cap top of panels.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how and where to thermal cut panels.
  • Installation of trim with uniform spacing of screws.
  • Knowledge of how and where to foam, peel & seal.
  • Assist in the installation of windows and ceiling panels.
  • Assist in the installation of thermal ribbon and thermal boxes.
  • Help in the inventorying of material.

  • Able to work in outside environments with extreme temperatures both cold and hot.
