Position Description
The Metal Panel Installer is responsible for the installation of architectural metal wall panel systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This role performs layout, sub-framing, panel installation, and waterproofing while coordinating closely with the foreman and other trades to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper sequencing. Successful candidates have hands-on experience with metal or ACM panel systems, are comfortable working at heights and outdoors, follow jobsite safety requirements, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • 2-5+ years of experience installing metal wall panels, ACM panels, or architectural cladding systems
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and layout plans
  • Experience with:
    • Layout and alignment of panel systems
    • Installing sub-framing, girts, and clips
    • Waterproofing systems (flashing, sealants, weather barriers)
  • Familiarity with tools such as drills, lasers, levels, shears, and lifts
  • Understanding of tolerances, reveals, and panel spacing

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly
  • Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, boom/scissor lifts)
  • Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Certifications & Safety
  • OSHA 10 (required to begin work)
  • OSHA 30 preferred
