Position

Market Manager (Markets & Revenue Team)

The Dimension Markets & Revenue Team is responsible for all aspects of subscriber origination and management, revenue generation, and overall market management for both projects that are in development and operating. Our team is responsible for:

  • Maximizing project revenue by originating subscriber and maintaining fully subscribed projects from the commercial operation date through the life of the project
  • Establishing and maintaining Dimension's market position in each state where we operate by securing program capacity and ensuring ongoing compliance with all project requirements
  • Providing timely, accurate data that allows for clear reporting on key operational metrics to both internal and external stakeholders

Summary of Functions

We are seeking a Market Manager who will oversee Dimension's growing portfolio within one to two state community solar markets. You will be focused on maintaining fully subscribed projects and managing all aspects of revenue generation and collection.

You will report to the VP of Markets & Revenue. Your overall objective will be to maximize revenue generation from the projects in your portfolio. This includes working with Subscription Management Partners such as Ampion and Powermarket to ensure a smooth, repeatable process is implemented to allocate community solar bill credits to subscribers each month and collect the subscriber payments for those credits. You will own the portfolio of subscription agreements for each project and work to minimize churn / ensure a positive customer experience for all subscribers. The role will also include developing strategies to acquire new customers to replace customers whose subscriptions to Dimension's projects are cancelled or terminated. Finally, as part of revenue management, you will also administer any third-party Renewable Energy Credit contracts as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the full end-to-end process for allocating community solar bill credits to subscribers each month and collecting revenue
  • Collaborate directly with Subscription Management Partners to ensure all required utility coordination occurs on time
  • Maximize project revenue and the timely collection of subscriber payments
  • Strategically manage Subscription Manager contracts to ensure partners are complying with all terms and conditions, providing all required deliverables, etc.
  • Provide accurate reporting to the rest of the organization on a monthly basis on all subscriber and revenue related metrics
  • Manage and optimize the portfolio of subscription agreements associated with each project taking into account:
  • Subscription rules and requirements for each program
  • Revenue optimization
  • Customer quality and contract tenor
  • Subscription agreement requirements
  • Develop a replacement customer acquisition strategy
  • Put in place SOPs for when and how new customers should be acquired for projects
  • Oversee subscription management partner obligations as it relates to replacement customer acquisition
  • Work directly with Dimension's VP of Channel & Community Partnerships to source higher value customers at lower costs in a way that maximizes brand impact
  • Enhance the overall customer experience for Dimension subscribers on active projects
  • Work with Subscription Managers to develop communication campaigns that keep customers aware of the benefit they are receiving
  • Develop new, innovative customer engagement strategies to minimize churn
  • Oversee all logistics associated with acquiring and onboarding new customers
  • Ensure all documentation and processes used to acquire customers comply with applicable consumer protection regulations
  • Develop and oversee QA/QC processes to ensure new customers and all subscription documentation meets Dimension requirements
  • Organize all documentation and customer records

Qualifications

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic company poised for growth in one of the country’s most rapidly changing industries. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to building clear, replicable processes that drive project revenue and reliable data. Additionally, we are looking for team members with:

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, inside sales, portfolio management, asset management, etc.
  • Preference for experience renewable energy, finance, real estate, or a similarly relevant field
  • Contract management experience, including an understanding of how to manage partners to achieve optimal results for the company and ability to leverage contract terms to drive partner performance
  • Project management experience with strong organization and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Experience and comfort with other data management programs such as Python, PowerBi, etc. is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position require an individual to be able to work at a computer for most of the day, as well as being able to participate in conference calls, Microsoft Teams meetings, and occasional travel from time to time. Though Dimension believes in overall work/life balance, we also know that success requires short-term imbalances. Long hours will be needed from time to time as dictated by project deadlines. We also prize the teamwork and collaboration that comes with being in the same office as coworkers and expect the Market Manager will be in office four days per week.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year. The position will also include a bonus incentive program. Dimension offers a generous benefits package as well.
