SUMMARY 
  
QCELLS, America's leading solar hub operator, is proud to offer unparalleled experience in solar panel manufacturing operations and managerial accounting through its Cartersville Operations Team. As an Operations Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing production key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also conduct cost variance analysis, manage capital expenditures (CAPEX) and devise strategies to enhance overall manufacturing performance. 
  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Analyze and facilitate production key performance indicators of ingots, wafers, cells or modules. You will be assigned one of the four sections (I/W/C/M) and the assigned section may change, depending on expertise and the team requirements.
  • Partner with engineers to craft production plans that meet output goals while minimizing expenditures. 
  • Collaborate with engineers to track production changes and align key cost-related metrics like cycle time and productivity. 
  • Conduct daily and monthly production variance analyses to pinpoint cost deviations and create plans to address them. 
  • Compile and analyze CAPEX data to identify cost discrepancies, make necessary adjustments, and uncover actionable insights for capital expenditure efficiency. 
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement to ensure competitive pricing without compromising quality.  
  • Assess the potential economic advantages and cost-effectiveness of adopting new manufacturing technologies, automation solutions, and digital tools.  
  • Resolve day-to-day cost/budget issues related to factory operation.     
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.  
  
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor's degree or higher. 
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, financial analysis or cost analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to visualize data. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to utilize complex business models. 
  • Thrives in a team environment. 
  • Accountable with outstanding organizational aptitude. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Basic understanding of managerial accounting. 
  • Fluency in Korean, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers. 
  • Solid understanding in engineering, manufacturing, or production.
