Basic Job Functions:
The Manager, Marketing & Marketing Operations supports the execution of First Solar's marketing strategy across customer engagement, product positioning, and brand operations. This role is responsible for operationalizing marketing plans, ensuring alignment across teams, and driving excellence in execution. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns, maintain brand consistency, and optimize marketing processes. The ideal candidate will also leverage AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to enhance marketing operations, automate workflows, and improve campaign performance.

Education/Experience:

  • Associates degree with 12 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or related roles.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; agency or consultancy experience a plus.

Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g., CRM, CMS, analytics tools).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on execution and quality.

  • Support budget tracking, vendor management, and procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and marketing governance protocols.

Customer & Product Marketing Support
  • Assist in developing and executing customer engagement initiatives.
  • Support the creation of product marketing content in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and customer feedback.
  • Maintain marketing collateral and ensure timely updates.

Digital & Social Media Coordination
  • Support the execution of digital campaigns across web and social platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Track and analyze digital engagement metrics to inform strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with business development, communications, and policy teams to ensure marketing alignment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to support campaign delivery.
  • Facilitate internal communications and updates on marketing initiatives.

AI-Enabled Marketing Operations
  • Evaluate and deploy AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve campaign execution speed.
  • Use AI-driven analytics to generate insights from customer data and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with content and creative teams to integrate AI-generated assets where appropriate.
  • Stay current with AI trends and assess their relevance to First Solar's marketing strategy.
  • Explore the use of large language models (LLMs) to support content generation, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.

Team & Process Support
  • Contribute to team planning, prioritization, and process improvement.
