Job description

This isn't a helper role. We're looking for someone who can own an install.

Solace Plumbing, Heating & Air is a fast-growing home services company serving the Nashville market and we're looking for a senior residential HVAC installer who takes pride in doing the job right the first time. If you've been in the trade long enough to know the difference between a tech who installs equipment and one who installs it correctly, this is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full residential HVAC system installations including equipment, ductwork, refrigerant lines, electrical connections, and startup
  • Work independently on job sites with minimal supervision
  • Identify and communicate any site conditions that affect the quality of the install
  • Represent Solace professionally in customers' homes. Appearance, communication, and cleanup matter here
  • Collaborate with the service team when installs surface repair needs
  • Mentor junior installers and helpers on best practices and company standards

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience
  • Ability to independently install split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and gas furnaces
  • Experience with major residential equipment brands: Trane, Lennox, Carrier, American Standard, and Goodman
  • EPA 608 certification (required)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean MVR (required)
  • Working knowledge of local codes and permit requirements in the Nashville area
  • Strong attention to detail. You'll be the last set of eyes before the customer signs off

What Solace Offers

  • Company vehicle equipped for the job
  • Company gas card
  • Health insurance. We cover 70% of your premium
  • Company-paid short and long-term disability
  • Safe Harbor 401(k) with employer match
  • 1 week (40 hours) paid vacation after 90 days
  • Continuing education and certifications to keep you growing
  • A team that treats people like people, not truck numbers

Who We Are

Solace Plumbing, Heating & Air is a Tennessee-born company founded in 2020 and built around four values: Family. Integrity. Responsibility. Excellence. We operate across Memphis, Jackson, and Nashville and we're still growing. That means real opportunities for the right person.

Company Description

Solace Plumbing, Heating & Air isn't a franchise. We're not a private equity rollup. We're a Tennessee-born company founded in 2020 by tradespeople who were tired of watching good technicians get treated like truck numbers.
We built Solace around four non-negotiables: Family. Integrity. Responsibility. Excellence. This is the filter we run every decision through, including who we hire, how we pay, and how we treat our people when things get hard.
Since 2020, we've grown to three markets: Jackson, Memphis, and Nashville and we're still growing. That means real advancement opportunities, not a promise buried in an offer letter.
What you'll find here:
Commission structures built to reward performance, not just hours
Company vehicle, gas card, and the tools you need to do the job right
Health insurance
Company-paid short and long-term disability
Strong 401(k) match
A team that answers when you call
Who we're looking for:
People who take pride in their work, show up when they're supposed to, and treat customers the way they'd want their own family treated. Trade experience matters. Character matters more.
