Role: Programmer/Developer Lead- Software Testing
Location: SYLMAR, CA
Duration: 6+ Months
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
Programmer/Developer Lead- Software Testing:
Proven working experience in software development
Working experience in medical device industry
A deep familiarity with software testing life cycle
3 to 5 years of experience in software testing
Very good understanding of C#. Should able to understand and debug the scripts written in C#
Familiarity with defect tracking tool like clear quest
Familiarity with version control tools like Clear case, Accurev, Team Concert
Basic knowledge of Linux
Very good understanding and working experience with MS Office
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
The ability to work in a team and as an individual
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team spirit with a 'can do' attitude - you enjoy testing, documenting and resolving software issues.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities include:
Test design and test scripting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software features and test designs
Conduct functional, integration, regression, user acceptance testing.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 3-5 years of experience with designing, planning and execution of software testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle.
Specialized/Practical Knowledge
Experience in C# (Must)
Experience in Medical Devices is a plus
