Fraction is a software startup based in San Francisco's Union Square. Our products help small businesses succeed through powerful customer acquisition and retention software.

Our current product is a platform for creating, distributing, and accepting digital offers to bring more customers to SMB locations. It's a win-win for all parties involved. We're focusing on expanding the number of small businesses that benefit from our platform and want your help to make it grow. Right now the team is small so it's an exciting time to join our company.

About the Position

The Sales Associate responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products, and recommending the right solutions. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our CMS of prospective & current customers.

A typical day for a Sales Associate involves prospecting new businesses, reaching out to prospects, closing them, onboarding them, and ensuring that we're providing the best possible service.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity as you'll be working on a small, very driven team and thus you will also be in a position to make a significant impact on the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Seeking out prospective customers
  • Conveying value proposition to prospects
  • Working with sales tools to close deals
  • Being knowledgeable about the products/services
  • Communicating with team members (via Slack, CRM, Gmail)
  • Suggesting ideas on how to improve sales
  • Providing feedback to the production and engineering team
