Job Summary
The Publishing Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and improving the Service Information Portal (SIP) and related publishing systems, content workflows, and web-based support tools. This role combines publishing system administration, digital content maintenance, web application development, QA/testing, user support, analytics, automation, and continuous improvement to ensure service information is accurate, accessible, and operationally effective for internal teams, dealers, independent operators, and customers.
This position serves as a key technical resource across SIP operations, supports day-to-day publishing and intake workflows, develops and maintains business-critical web applications, and drives improvements through testing, automation, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage intake and triage of platform feedback and issues, partnering with stakeholders to prioritize fixes and enhancements.
  • Maintain and publish digital content within enterprise publishing systems, ensuring accuracy and release readiness.
  • Design, build, and support internal web-based tools to improve operational efficiency and access to information.
  • Configure and validate new product data, metadata, and content structures within service information platforms.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and quality assurance for system updates, including manual and automated testing.
  • Develop and maintain internal process documentation to support operational continuity and knowledge transfer.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, supporting internal teams and external users, and collaborate with IT and support partners.
  • Coordinate intake and publication of documentation and media assets from multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Generate reports and analyze usage and system performance data to identify trends and issues.
  • Develop automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating tools, gathering user feedback, and implementing enhancements.
  • Serve as a point of contact and in-house data architecture advisor to translation suppliers, data resellers, software suppliers, and printing suppliers.

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technical Communication, Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Publishing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, preferred.

Experience Requirments
Required
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience supporting content publishing systems, web applications, or enterprise information platforms.
  • Experience with Jira or comparable issue- and feedback-tracking tools.
  • Experience with manual testing/UAT and documenting defects or process issues.
  • Experience creating and maintaining internal documentation, online help, or technical/process content.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of technology skills for data transformation (XML, XSL), content search (XPath), and data display (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, web services).

Preferred
  • Experience with Blaise CMS or similar structured authoring, publishing/content management systems.
  • Experience building and maintaining web applications.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate or scripting.
  • Experience using AI tools in practical, real-world workflows to streamline processes, analyze data, or support content and system operations.
  • Familiarity with service information, dealer support environments, or technical publications operations.
  • Ability to learn new software without formal training.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
