Job description

Content Creator & Photographer - Are you passionate about creating content that inspires and connects our church community? Shepherd Church is looking for a creative Content Creator & Photographer to capture our story through photos and video. You’ll film services and events, edit content, manage projects, and help bring our ministry to life.

You’ll film and photograph key moments, then edit content using Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Premiere, Lightroom, and Photoshop. You’ll manage projects, schedules, and deadlines in Asana, collaborate with the Content Director to deliver high-quality content, and handle all gear, setups, and production for shoots.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is passionate about photography, videography, and storytelling.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to excellence and being a good steward of resources.
  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Has strong project management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • 2–5 years of experience in photography, videography, or content production.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop; After Effects optional).
  • Familiarity with camera equipment, lighting, and audio for both photo and video shoots.
  • Experience with content management and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Ability to edit and deliver polished content on deadlines.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for visual content.

  • Tue–Fri: 8:30–5:00
