About the Position:
We're looking for a creative storyteller who thrives at the intersection of data and design. As our Content Creator, you'll develop engaging graphics and video/UGC content that resonates with audiences and drives performance across a variety of brands and verticals.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience using data to craft videos that drive high conversion rates and scale!
What you'll do:
Collaborate with the Creative and Growth Marketing teams to plan, produce, and edit high-performing video, photography, and graphic assets;
  • Graphic Design:
    • Develop new creative styles, templates, and designs for social and native ad placements
    • Design logos, icons, and other visual elements to support brand initiatives
  • Manage Creative Projects & Timelines:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
    • Capturing content for digital media channels, including social and native, such as Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Video editing:
    • Designing and cutting short form video ad concepts for digital media channels.
  • Photography/UGC:
    • Produce and style well-composed, visually compelling photographs/UGC that are consistent with clients' brand aesthetics for digital media channels, including social and native;
    • Work with the Creative Team to develop and concept photography/UGC for all client creative campaigns and maintain the GeistM UGC Photo Library.
  • Maintain a backlog of ad concepts, pitching these concepts weekly in our Creative Team meetings;
  • Work with the Growth Marketing Team to review ad-level performance, record learnings, and iterate accordingly.

What you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Media, Design, or related field;
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Illustrator), Figma, and/or Canva;
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience creating short form video content from scratch (e.g., YouTube vlogs, TikToks),
    • portfolio required (LinkedIn link not accepted);
  • Social media savvy with a strong understanding of social platform requirements and trends;
  • Knowledge of current social media/marketing/advertising industry trends and design techniques to bring fresh ideas to projects
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Comfortable being on camera (a plus);
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance and streamline creative workflows, bringing a forward-thinking mindset and innovative approach to content creation
