COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Welcome to The Kitchen by Kraft Heinz - the in-house agency taking marketing into a new era. With bases in Toronto and Chicago, we're not just a team; we're culinary pioneers blending culture, creativity, and collaboration. Join our 140+ member crew of Creatives, Strategists, Producers, Designers, and Content Creators. Together with our brand partners, we unlock creativity at the speed of culture, turning brands into icons with breakthrough social and digital ideas. Come be part of a team where passion meets innovation, crafting experiences that leave a lasting impression-one spicy idea at a time.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
In this role as Content Creator, you work alongside a team of Creatives and a Producer to plan, shoot, edit and optimize a wide range of content. From clever TikToks shot natively on device to deliciously staged food photography, you will work to create a range of still and video assets for some iconic brands. You're an expert in social content - with a deep understanding of the platforms and what kind of content audiences expect on each. You enjoy the creative process and you'll be part of a team that makes the kind of ideas, brand acts, and social content that gets people talking.
You'll use your experience as a Content Creator to plan, shoot, edit, and design content at the speed of culture. You are on top of the latest trends and are well-versed in creating content for all platforms - you know what works on Instagram, twitter, and just how different both those platforms are from TikTok. You are a storyteller and use all your skills every day to create content that sets us apart from other brands online.
Your work will make a meaningful impact with a multi-talented team in North America (Toronto & Chicago) that blurs the lines of what advertising can be in today's always-on, socially connected industry.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • SOCIAL EXPERTISE: You can identify trends and opportunities as they emerge in social and quickly ideate and present concepts for content that will stay true to our brands but participate in the online dialogue.
  • SOCIAL STRATEGY: Work with the team to ideate on planned content monthly and quarterly to ensure an always-on social approach. Research and proactively recommend ideas, solutions and new content for the brands
  • CONTENT CREATION: You use a robust skillset from photography to videography, design, and platform native tools to create a wide range of content that suits the moment and the idea. From quick social posts to beautiful shoots, you have the range and the ability to switch quickly between styles.
  • STORYTELLING: You're able to ideate, build, shoot, and edit effective stories that match the quality of each social platform.
  • COLLABORATION: Work collaboratively with a large team of creatives from ideation to execution - helping to ensure ideas are created and brought to life faithfully.
  • WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT: Can manage multiple priorities and assignments. Execute with rapid turnaround times for real-time moments, capture trending moments, editing quickly and efficiently to deliver high-quality work, on-time and with accuracy.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a design or content creation role where you have made a wide range of content.
  • A high-quality portfolio displaying a range of quality social content, ideally produced in a creative agency environment.
  • Understanding of design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects, including best practices for all social channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to make relevant content across all platforms with extraordinary skills in visual storytelling, videography, and video editing. Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • A passion, curiosity, and experience in making creative content on social media platforms - Instagram visuals, TikTok videos, YouTube edits, and more.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and eager to continue to learn and evolve in other ways to make social-first content.
  • Experience creating high-quality content for clients with high standards of quality and excellence.
  • Ability to problem solve and recommend production/design-appropriate solutions.
  • Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food that enhances the authenticity and appeal of brand marketing in the culinary industry.
  • A desire to do award-winning, internationally recognized work.
