Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to support a DHS client by delivering enterprise-level software licensing and asset management expertise. This role supports software licensing optimization, procurement support, and overall, SAM program effectiveness.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Software Licensing Optimization (SLO) and procurement support activities
  • Provide expertise on industry-standard software licensing models
  • Support management of major software publishers and enterprise licensing agreements
  • Assist with software entitlement tracking and compliance activities
  • Support the Project Manager in meeting program and contractual requirements
  • Ensure alignment with DHS and USCIS operational priorities, systems, and policies
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on software asset management best practices
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • More than 8 years of experience providing software asset management and licensing expertise
Preferred Skills & Competencies
  • Strong Flexera background preferred
  • Experience supporting DHS systems preferred
  • Knowledge of enterprise software licensing and procurement processes
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
