Job description

Hachette Book Group's Central Advertising team is seeking a highly organized and dependable Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide operational and administrative support. This part-time role (approximately 10-15 hours per week for three month) will report directly to the Director of Advertising & Social Commerce and play a key supporting role in keeping the team running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and process advertising invoices, maintaining accurate records.
Update and maintain project management software to track campaign timelines, deliverables, and team tasks.
Update and maintain various reports, including campaign performance summaries and budget tracking documents.
Provide general administrative support for the central advertising team, including scheduling meetings, preparing decks and documents, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Planner, is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in publishing or marketing is a plus.
