Job Description:
The Systems Software Programmer will work full-time with Department staff to understand the intended business needs and technical requirements of tasks necessary to ensure deliverables are met and conform to Department standards. Reviews will occur through participation in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, design/development/testing meetings, technical documentation reviews, code reviews and/or testing.
Required Skills
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information
Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, or another related
Information Technology field is required. Equivalent work experience may be used as an
alternative for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in translating functional specification into
technical specification from which programmers can construct the solution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and
maintaining applications and business intelligence with similar size and complexity.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing and implementing customized Microsoft
.NET (Visual Studios 2019 or higher) applications using SQL Server database
(RDBMS).
• Minimum 7 years of experience with development and release management using
multiple code branches in Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Minimum 7 years of experience programming in C#, .Net, ASP.NET, Microsoft
Framework 4, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, MS SQL Server, MVC, WCF, WEBAPI,
