Job Summary: 

Envestnet is seeking a strategic and client-obsessed Senior Product Manager to join the Tamarac Product team. This role is instrumental in defining and advancing product priorities across the Tamarac platform, partnering closely with key stakeholders to shape the roadmap and drive execution from concept through delivery. We are looking for a leader who deeply understands advisor workflows, anticipates client needs, and brings forward innovative solutions that strengthen Tamarac’s position in the wealth management ecosystem.

The Senior Product Manager operates with a high degree of ownership, balancing independent leadership with strong cross-functional collaboration. They work closely with engineering, design, business stakeholders, and technical writing to deliver scalable, high-impact capabilities to market. This role also serves as a key voice of the product—clearly articulating strategy, vision, and value to clients, internal teams, and sales—ensuring alignment and driving adoption across the Tamarac platform.

Job Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end product leadership – Own and drive the full product lifecycle for key areas of the Tamarac platform, from discovery and strategy through delivery and continuous optimization, ensuring strong client and business outcomes
  • Client-centric feature design – Partner closely with advisors, clients, and prospects to gather insights and validate concepts early, ensuring solutions align with real-world wealth management workflows and deliver meaningful value
  • Strategic feature definition & prioritization – Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, technical writing, and business stakeholders to define product priorities and develop clear, scalable feature specifications aligned to Tamarac’s long-term roadmap
  • Go-to-market leadership – Define and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with product marketing and sales, ensuring successful launches, strong positioning, and high adoption of Tamarac capabilities
  • Data-driven decision making – Establish and own success metrics, using data and client feedback to evaluate performance, uncover opportunities, and inform ongoing product strategy
  • Product excellence & communication – Ensure high-quality, consistent product artifacts—including documentation, roadmaps, and feature communications—effectively convey Tamarac’s value to internal and external stakeholders across Marketing, Training, Sales, Operations, Legal, and Compliance
  • Advanced problem solving – Navigate complex and ambiguous challenges with strong analytical rigor, identifying root causes and delivering thoughtful, scalable solutions aligned with product and business goals
  • Subject matter expertise & mentorship – Serve as a domain expert within the Tamarac platform, guiding product direction and providing mentorship and leadership to other product managers to elevate team performance and consistency
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

  • 5–8 years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering complex, client-facing software solutions
  • Self-directed and highly motivated, with the ability to lead initiatives independently while thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across clients, cross-functional teams, and external partners
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—with the ability to clearly articulate product strategy, vision, and value to diverse audiences
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring excellence across product deliverables and execution
  • Willingness to travel to engage with clients, support product initiatives, and strengthen market alignment.

  • Experience in financial technology, with a deep understanding of advisor workflows and industry trends
  • Hands-on experience with wealth management platforms, particularly those aligned with Tamarac’s portfolio management, trading, and rebalancing capabilities
  • Strong product storytelling and presentation skills, with a passion for evangelizing product vision and driving adoption
  • Demonstrated alignment with Tamarac’s client-first philosophy and a commitment to innovation within the wealth management space
