A software product manager oversees the engineering, development, design, and marketing of software. As a software product manager, you are a member of the development team and interact with end users or other stakeholders to identify their needs and how best to meet those needs. Your duties include documenting the production process, supervising customer support services, and directing team members. You also coordinate with technical workers and clients to ensure updates and new products meet changing standards and needs in the industry.

How does a software product manager typically collaborate with engineering and design teams throughout the product lifecycle?

As a Software Product Manager, close collaboration with engineering and design teams is essential from initial concept through launch and beyond.
