Rogers Communications is currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager ready to move to the next step in their career and take on a challenging and unique opportunity to provide professional and reliable financial stewardship as it relates to the corporate support functions.ย ย This is a multi facet role supporting six members of the executive leadership team in Human Resources, Finance, Brand & Communications, Group Operations Support Groups, Legal and Corporate Affairs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, this position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills as they will be a trusted business partner and have direct interaction with senior management.

What you'll do:
ย Key lead for budget preparations, reporting packages, business cases, projects and ad hoc analysis for corporate support groups for both OPEX and CAPEX
ย Build relationships with department leads to ensure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall reporting process
ย Prepare monthly financial reporting and analyses to support operational review with senior management
ย Provide value add variance commentary on financial results and key business indicators in partnership with the business
ย Manage and maintain financial models for forecasting/budgeting/month end reporting Identify risks and opportunities and incorporate into plans & forecasts
ย Enhance business processes to gain efficiencies
ย Lead the annual product line allocation exercise
ย Represent the Corporate Support groups on company-wide initiatives
ย People leader to two finance managers and four senior financial analysts
ย Support ad hoc analysis as required

What you'll have:
ย Over 7 years of experience in relevant finance roles
ย University degree in business with a concentration in finance, accounting, or economics
ย Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
ย Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
ย Knowledge of Essbase and Oracle Finance ERP is an asset
ย Ability to analyze business processes and identify improvements and implement
ย Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
ย Experience dealing with senior leadership and executive leadership team members is a must have
ย Strong time management skill, an ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities under short timelines
ย Ability to build strong relationships with business groups and other finance organizations
ย Self-motivated with a positive collaborative attitude
