Job description

Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking an experienced IT Technical Lead to design, implement, and oversee the next-generation entitlement management system for software and services. The role focuses on creating scalable solutions, driving system adoption, and collaborating across business and technical teams to meet enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement entitlement and license management systems for B2B software and services.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to design solutions for post-sales monetization and software distribution.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of licensing platforms and related enterprise integrations.
• Develop deep expertise in software licensing models, platforms, and best practices for adoption.
• Work with enterprise architects to ensure solutions align with overall IT and business strategies.
• Integrate entitlement systems with enterprise IT platforms such as ERP and cloud applications.
• Optimize platforms for operational efficiency, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with organizational data privacy and regulatory policies (PII, GDPR, CFR).
• Communicate technical strategies, designs, and project updates through documentation and presentations.
• Support Agile SCRUM development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience applying core computer science principles and algorithms.
• Minimum 2 years as a technical lead managing medium to large project teams.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise IT solutions using off-the-shelf and custom platforms.
• Experience developing customer-facing applications and integrating with backend ERP systems.
• Proficiency in backend scripting languages such as JavaScript (NodeJS), TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, IAM, Storage, and Caching.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, information security, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Skilled in Agile SCRUM methodologies and software development life cycle management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
