Job description

Implementation Manager

This position will involve ownership of the day-to-day execution of complex, large scale Corporate Performance Management (CPM) implementations. Implementation Managers will serve as Finit's primary "face" to our clients for the entire duration of a project and will lead client and Finit project teams through the Create, Enable and Delivery stages of a project.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Finit contact for the client, responsible for the day-to-day program execution and communication with client stakeholders on large scale CPM engagements.
  • Manage project team members through all phases of program execution following mobilization and foundation design.
  • Assist project team as needed with development of the less complex and more end-user experience-focused, Create-phase deliverables, including:
    • Financial model build
    • Specialty model build
    • Presentation and end-user experience objects
  • Escalate risks to project delivery as needed to Finit and client leadership.
  • Assist with continual maintenance of the project plan and ensure effective implementation of the Finit PMO methodology as defined in the PMO Playbook.
  • Understand the connections between technical solution possibilities and functional business requirements, and logically communicate the pros and cons of different approaches.
  • Coordinate with Finit team to allocate tasks and responsibilities to project team members to effectively meet project milestones.
  • Act as subject matter expert for all project phases and deliverables.
  • Understand the relationships between various project activities, and quickly assess the risk and impact of project decisions and changes.
  • Show confident decision making despite uncertainty or incomplete information. Manage stressful or changing situations appropriately and confidently communicate plan and strategy, both internally and externally.
  • Proactively identify tasks/opportunities, especially within the Create and Deliver project stages.
  • Build and develop authentic client and Finit relationships.
  • Ensure a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects.
  • Develop a coaching/leading relationship with all levels of the client and internal team. Be able to "rally the troops" when necessary and successfully mediate between teams.
  • Occasionally support sales team members and program directors with business development activities such as project scoping, RFP responses, proposal development and preparation of project contracts.
  • Provide real-time on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Communicate openly with client to obtain feedback.
  • Play a key role in critical internal Finit activities, including recruiting, training, employee enablement and performance management.
  • Assume ownership of one's own personal growth at Finit and continuously seek to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise.

Skills:

  • Implementation Managers will typically have 5-7+ years' experience with CPM software and/or the financial close cycle.
  • Deep content/functional expertise in the several core EPM knowledge areas, including: Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting.
  • Previous experience managing complex, large scale projects comprised of consultants and client team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, and capable of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to assist with managing both Finit staff and client stakeholders within the expectations of Finit's core values.
  • Energized by projects with high degree of uncertainty. Can manage this uncertainty appropriately for other team members.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise consistently good judgment.
  • High competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications:

  • Previous OneStream experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent a plus.
  • CPA a plus.
