Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Physical Security Support Specialist is the first point of contact for The Coca Cola Company (TCCC) personnel and security technicians experiencing technical issues. In addition to providing troubleshooting for software and hardware, this role includes programming and implementation support for new projects and security software training for TCCC personnel.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
  • After-hours work may be required as dictated by client needs.
  • Responds to customer and vendor inquiries via phone, email or chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provides ongoing software and hardware support for client systems, including but not limited to Software House CCURE 9000, Avigilon Unity Video, Avigilon Alta Video, Commend VirtuoSIS Intercom, RGB Gallieo Video Wall Processors, DSC Neo Intrusion Alarm Systems, and Fargo badge printers.
  • Triages reported issues with a goal of remote resolution, including opening support cases with vendors and actively working with vendor support to troubleshoot issues. Issues that cannot be resolved can be escalated or dispatched if remote resolution is not likely.
  • Logs all support interactions in the ticketing system. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, communications, associated vendor case numbers, and issue resolution or next steps.
  • Escalates unresolved or complex problems to Program Manager and Solutions Architect.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and translate business and operational requirements into effective solutions
  • Coordinate and lead end user training on security software platforms
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Electronic Security Certifications: Certifications in three or more TSi Supported Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and any other Electronic Security Systems preferred. Including but not limited to Avigilon, Software House, Exacq, Commend, Aiphone, HID, Fargo, RGB
  • IT Certifications: Networking, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc. are a plus.
B. EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years working knowledge in commercial Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and/or Video Surveillance.
  • Software and hardware troubleshooting experience with some of the following manufacturers: AMAG, Software House, S2 Access Control, ExacqVision, Milestone, AXIS cameras, Honeywell and DSC alarm systems, Hugs, etc.
  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ experience in a customer support/helpdesk role.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Zendesk, Freshdesk or others. ServiceNow experience is a plus.
  • Previous dispatch experience a plus.
C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, amp; COMPETENCY
  • Excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft based products (such as MS Word, Excel, MS Office Suite, and Outlook) and the Internet.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems on Access Control, Video Surveillance, and/or Intrusion Alarm Systems equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a sense of urgency when attending to customer needs and while interacting with Tech Systems staff and vendors.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including a sense of urgency when attending to internal needs.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, including, but not limited to, the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong time management skills, including ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with creating, updating and resolving service requests in a service management system.
D. DRIVERโ€™S LICENSE
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Must have clean driving record, satisfactory to Tech Systemsโ€™ automobile insurance carrier.
E. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Job duties are performed onsite at TCCC headquarters. This job does require intermittent physical activity including, but not limited to, walking, standing, sitting, and light lifting. After-hours work may be required as dictated by client needs.
