Job description

About the Role

MRI Software is seeking a driven, collaborative Account Executive I to support the continued growth of MRI Contract Intelligence (MCI) and related Managed Services offerings. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role ideal for someone early in their AE career who is eager to learn, build credibility quickly, and make an impact across both existing customers and net-new markets.

This role blends cross-sell expansion within the MRI install base with net-new hunting, requiring strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset. Success in this Specialist Product, SME (subject matter expert) position comes from partnering closely with internal Account Executives and Account Managers, solution consultants, and delivery teams-no lone wolves here. If you thrive in a tight-knit, supportive sales culture and enjoy solving real customer problems with innovative technology and services, this role is for you.

What You'll DoRevenue Generation & Sales Execution
  • Own and manage a book of business focused on MRI Contract Intelligence (MCI) and associated Managed Services.

  • Drive new bookings through a mix of:

    • Cross-selling into existing MRI customers (majority of activity).

    • Net-new prospecting and hunting, representing at least 20% of annual goal attainment.

  • Manage the full sales cycle-from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.

Collaboration & Team Selling

  • Partner closely with core MRI Account Executives and Account Managers, Customer Success, Managed Services, and Product teams to identify, position, and close opportunities.

  • Build internal trust by communicating clearly, following through on commitments, and operating with transparency.

  • Act as a strong teammate who elevates the group-not just individual results.

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer workflows, pain points, and operational constraints.

  • Position MCI and Managed Services as force multipliers that help customers scale, reduce risk, and operate more efficiently.

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with real estate, legal, finance, and operations stakeholders.

Market Development

  • Develop a working knowledge of previously untapped or under-penetrated markets, including emerging buyer personas.

  • Learn quickly and adapt messaging based on customer feedback, competitive insights, and market signals.

  • Share learnings with the broader team to improve repeatability and go-to-market execution.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-based selling environment.

  • Comfort prospecting and engaging in net-new business development.

  • Strong communication skills-curious, thoughtful, and confident without being transactional.

  • High learning agility and willingness to ramp quickly in a complex solution environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into commercial real estate, legal, finance, or operations teams.

  • Exposure to enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales cycles.

  • Familiarity with cross-sell or overlay sales motions.

  • Interest in AI-driven solutions, data extraction, or contract/lease management.

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent attainment of quota with a healthy mix of cross-sell and net-new business.

  • Strong internal reputation as a reliable, collaborative partner.

  • Growing confidence and independence in running discovery, positioning value, and managing deals.

  • Meaningful contributions to expanding MCI's footprint in new accounts and markets.

Why MRI Software
  • Industry leader in PropTech with decades of innovation and a growing AI portfolio.

  • Collaborative, supportive sales culture with strong enablement and leadership access.

  • Opportunity to build a strong foundation for long-term sales growth and career advancement.

  • Work on solutions that solve real, high-impact problems for customers.
