We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to bring technical excellence, initiative and leadership to our team. As a Staff Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling our platform. We are building a new revenue path for GoodLeap, a project with direct executive attention and real momentum behind it. This is one of the most exciting areas of the company to be a part of right now. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build solutions that are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Driving our AI strategy is central to this role, building and shipping Agents powered by LLMs and other AI technologies. This is a full-stack role with deep ownership, from backend services to frontend performance, from planning phases to production launches.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of large-scale applications, for both frontend and backend components. You'll contribute across the stack, whether it's modern Mobile UIs, React components or high-performance backend services.
  • Architect highly scalable, responsive, and secure solutions to support AI/ML-powered features across Web, Mobile, SMS/Voice, and API surfaces
  • Own end-to-end technical strategy for embedding LLMs, embedding stores, and personalized content delivery
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic workflows using LLMs, including orchestration across APIs, tools, and data sources
  • Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD for AI pipelines, and AI observability tools
  • Experience developing and deploying MCP Servers and working with the Model Context Protocol ecosystem
  • Provide technical leadership across teams, guiding decisions on architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Drive cross-functional projects to enhance the reliability and performance of our applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and data privacy regulations.
  • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and technical excellence.
  • Communicate clearly, engage with stakeholders, product managers and cross-functional teams to align on goals, share progress and manage expectations.
 
 
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building full-stack applications at scale, with at least 2+ years working with AI/ML solutions or LLMs
    Experience with NodeJS, React and Typescript
  • Experience with state management solutions (Redux or similar)
  • Deep understanding of architecture and best practices, including RESTful APIs, databases, secure coding, and responsive design.
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on performance.
  • Strong knowledge of application lifecycle, navigation patterns, and data security.
  • Expertise in designing systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
  • Ability to influence technical direction and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and executive teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and lead engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
