Software Engineer - AI & Data Solutions
Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)
Job Type: Contract to Hire (12-month initial contract, strong potential for full-time conversion)

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated engineers who want to work hands-on with the latest AI frameworks and vector databases, while driving innovation across business-critical projects. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions to organize, classify, and transform both structured and unstructured data
- Build AI-powered tools and applications to enable advanced search, analysis, and insight extraction from data
- Integrate APIs, databases, and data services to support diverse business initiatives
- Rapidly prototype and deliver solutions using modern AI frameworks and tooling
- Support and maintain OpenSearch/Elastic environments, including basic administration, access management, and monitoring
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Contribute to data-driven projects that support operational, risk, and business intelligence objectives
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of professional AI software engineering experience
- Proficiency with vector databases such as Elastic or OpenSearch
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling including LangChain, Vercel, or Haystack
- Strong understanding of API design and consumption
- Working knowledge of databases and data management concepts
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL, five days per week
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Skills
- Experience with large language models (LLMs)
- Familiarity with AI application frameworks and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Background in AWS cloud services and related technologies
- Experience working with unstructured data and AI-powered search platforms
- TypeScript proficiency
