Job description

Role: ServiceNow Software Engineer

Location: Jackson, MI (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Market

Duties:

·       Build, implement and maintain ServiceNow Modules.

·       Perform analysis and refine system requirements and designs.

·       Ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of ServiceNow.

·       Promote ServiceNow Update Sets.

·       Build complex ServiceNow workflows, catalog items.

·       Participate in design and code reviews for other members of the development team.

·       Support complex integrations to and from ServiceNow.

·       Identify, develop, deploy, and provide post implementation support of infrastructure and or application technologies to support the company's business requirements.

·       Applies principles, methods, and procedures for designing, developing, optimizing, and integrating new and/or reusable systems components.

·       Perform prototyping, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of software applications in an Agile environment.

·       Work with a cross functional team to implement and delivery that include Agile methodologies.

Skills:

·       Must have experience with JavaScript and HTML.

·       Must have experience creating ServiceNow update sets and workflows, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.

·       ServiceNow build and maintenance experience is preferred for the following ServiceNow Modules:

·       IT Service Management – Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Release and Discovery Modules

·       Customer Service Management Module

·       IT Operations Management – Event Management and Discovery Modules

·       IT Business Management – Demand Module

·       Software Asset Management Module

·       Security Operations – Vulnerability Response Module

·       Intelligent Apps – Automated Testing Framework Module

·       Knowledge Management, Service Portals, CMDB, Service Catalog and Analytics

·       Experience with complex integrations including VeraSmart, SAP, and Clarity.
