Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, for John Deere Ag & Turf, located in Moline, IL, you will work on an agile product team, supporting manufacturing by planning work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver moderately complex functionality. You will develop designs to solve well-defined problems and may assign, coordinate, and review portions of the work to support personnel. You will make decisions within established guidelines and execute high-level applications to more complex problems. Additionally, you will:
  • Develop and implement code, participate in and conduct code reviews, and provide feedback and mentorship to junior employees.
  • Identify root causes of moderately complex issues and implement reliability and test engineering practices.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, demonstrate proficiency in multiple technologies, and review and enhance code documentation and processes.
  • Have exposure and experience with real-world projects, actively lead in developing and deploying new innovative solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
