Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, Software Engineering for John Deere in Moline, Illinois, you will:
  • Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for Digital Service Experience tool for John Deere Dealers and customers.
  • Evaluate and implement, enhancement in design solutions to improve the cost, quality, and performance of Dealer and customer service tool.
  • Proactively design the solutions for dealers and customers.
  • Monitor and increase the performance of application.
  • Develop efficient and quality code.
  • Application maintenance and collaboration with other applications.
  • Up to 20% domestic and international travel required to collaborate with other teams.
  • Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
  • Up to 20% remote work allowed.

What Skills You Need
  • 2 years of experience in Conduct UI and UX development using React, NextJS or javascript basics.
  • 2 years of experience in End-to-end development embedded to client to server from machine CAN messages to dealer visible application on browser, which include technologies C++, Nodejs Addons, Nodejs Server, React and AWS.
  • 2 years of experience in Design and development of application using MFE and Module federation and iframes.
  • 1 year of experience in Conduct Application development and performance using github Actions as deployment pipeline and AWS as infrastructure.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 3 years related experience.
