Software Engineer L1 (Frontend/Web – React/Vue) | Mission-Focused Program


Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared) with a focus on modern web development to support a mission-critical program within the Intelligence Community. This role centers on building responsive, data-driven user interfaces and integrating with backend services in a secure, containerized environment.

You’ll work alongside a strong engineering team delivering impactful capabilities to end users in real-time operational settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain modern web applications using React or VueJS
  • Integrate frontend components with backend services via REST APIs
  • Contribute to backend services using Node.js and/or Python as needed
  • Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Support deployment and testing in containerized environments
  • Assist with performance optimization and UI/UX improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (or higher)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • React or VueJS
    • JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
    • RESTful API integration
  • Experience with Node.js and/or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Buildx)
  • Basic Kubernetes knowledge (kubectl commands, deployments, debugging)
  • Familiarity with:
    • MongoDB, Elasticsearch
    • WebSockets or real-time data streaming
    • gRPC-based service communication
    • Build tools such as Make
