Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java Microservices)
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java Microservices development to join a dynamic engineering team at Wells Fargo. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of hands-on software development experience, a passion for modern engineering practices, and the ability to independently drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications.
This role requires strong technical leadership, deep backend development expertise, and a commitment to building high-quality microservices solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
Lead end-to-end engineering efforts from requirements analysis through deployment.
Develop new microservices and enhance existing enterprise applications.
Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern architectural patterns.
Required Qualifications
10-12 years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices development.
