TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Own the architecture and operations of Business Intelligence technologies, including service automation and performance optimization. Design, develop, and manage .NET web applications and utilities that provide authorization and authentication for Report Analytics (RA) users and clients. Develop and maintain the Authorization Module in RA using Java-based custom authentication components to externalize security, enforcing centralized identity management, authentication policies, and authorization rules across RA environments. Enhance application security frameworks by implementing strict Content Security Policy with nonce-based dynamic script in .NET applications, ensuring resilience against XSS and injection attacks. Manage mainframe data integration processes. Lead the RA Automated Delivery and Transmission function, ensuring secure and accurate file transmissions to credit unions and external systems using enterprise products. Direct cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, DBA, security, mainframe, and development teams by defining security requirements, approving authentication/authorization designs, and ensuring secure end-to-end data delivery. Oversee enterprise-critical production operations, including incident resolution, system upgrades, compliance patching, and audit-driven enhancements across RA and security functions. Exercise enterprise authority over security, authentication, and compliance strategy, including centralized authorization rules, encryption standards, file transmission controls, and access governance.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving development experience in Business Intelligence tools. Prior experience must include 4 years in the following: Working in reporting and analytics using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI; Programming and developing in ASP.NET Web Forms & MVC, C#, and VB.NET; Working in authentication and security using Active Directory, SSO, ADFS, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and CSP; Conducting data integrations; Monitoring production servers using Splunk and Dynatrace; and Working with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
