Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Testing and analyzes network systems development including integration, systems testing, probability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system
  • Document test discrepancies and author change requests as required
  • Maintains existing test processes and documentation to ensure adequate record-keeping and knowledge-sharing
  • Organize and maintain baseline regression procedures in support of operational releases
  • Investigate and report complex operational matters of significance in conjunction with other engineering and technical support to ensure cost effective and efficient resolution to problems
  • Support leads on complex systems; determines system requirements; recommends process and/or programs, coordinates project team and follows through on implementation
  • Assist Test Team in developing test plans, procedures and tools
  • Conducts customer-witnessed testing
  • Ensuring high quality solutions by implementing unit tests and supporting the creation and design of integration, load and user acceptance tests
  • Support Operational patch testing, includes system and adaptation changes
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience using software testing tools such as RTC, RQM, DOORs and SQL
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Hands-on experience developing web applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Experience in roles that required demonstration of excellent communication and writing skills
  • Basic experience with performing scalability and performance testing
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
  • Experience with end-to-end system verification and validation
  • Time management, priority allocation and task management skills
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Ability to travel when required
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field is preferred)
