Senior Software Engineer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Develop, code, configure and test software systems and solutions to meet defined digital product specifications and direction; design and build scalable microservices and APIs to support enterprise-scale digital platforms; develop modern frontend applications ensuring responsive and accessible user experiences; architect and optimize cloud-native platforms, deploy containerized workloads, and provision infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code methodologies; design and optimize data storage solutions using relational and NoSQL databases to support application and analytics needs; develop real-time and batch data pipelines for enterprise data processing; build, train, and deploy machine learning models to support prediction and optimization use cases; operationalize machine learning models as scalable APIs or batch inference services; implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure observability across distributed systems; apply secure coding practices, lead system design discussions, and define API contracts; develop reusable tools and libraries to enhance engineering productivity across teams; modernize legacy applications into cloud-native architectures; contribute to enterprise-wide analytics and machine learning platforms that enable data-driven decision-making at scale; stay current with industry trends and recommend relevant technologies in the areas of software engineering, cloud computing, machine learning, and emerging technologies; communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, building trust and strong relationships across the organization.
