Job description

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Fullscope Poly investigation is required
Apogee's ideal Software Developer will support the data engineering pipeline development for data science applications. The Developer will also assist with developing data science analysis environments combining data from multiple sources to enable important national security related programs.
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree. STEM degree strongly preferred
  • Interest or expertise in "big data" methods desired

Desired
  • Experience with Python, Java, and other languages
  • SQL and relational database experience
  • Apache NiFi, Postgres, Apache Spark and Amazon AWS experience
  • Understanding of any data analytics, data science or statistical analysis subjects
  • Other development and analytical skills, such as web software development, Tableau or R

***Positions in McLean, Chantilly, and Reston/Herndon and at multiple levels
Pay
  • Target Salary Range: $106,000 to $220,000. The salary range listed represents the anticipated compensation for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and other relevant factors
