Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for software architecture design for customers and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for designated technology stack.

  • Guide team on best practices of software development involving acquisition of test data, access to appropriate support systems and necessary infrastructure facilities to meet customer demands.
  • Provide guidance for all major technical issues spanning various technology stacks, acting as a customer partner.
  • Provide expert guidance on industry best practices of process management, including ITIL, Six Sigma, and their practical implementation in a variety of industries.
  • Design and develop specialized, enterprise-level software scripts used for level 3 or 4 administration of a complex communication network involving millions of users.
  • Develop software used for remote management of customer premises devices, tracing and alarming on issues affecting connected devices through standard and custom network protocols, and event-based automated response to restore device health and reduce time to restore.
  • Design, develop, and deliver software for other complex IT systems, including management and data management for critical and large datasets, using Waterfall, Agile, Xtreme, and other software development methodologies.
  • Work across multiple teams, managing respective software deliverables concurrently.
  • Design, develop, configure, and implement enterprise network management software and other network and systems management software across network, server, application, security, and services layers.
  • Design and develop security protocols through thorough assessment of access requirements.
  • Ensure cyber security compliance in handling sensitive data.
  • Design, develop, customize, and support advanced web-based programs and applications for complex information management systems.
  • Synthesize functional requirements into technical requirements.
  • Plan, design, execute, and test customer disaster recovery processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for seamless failover of supported applications to backup environments while meeting agreed service level agreements (SLA).
  • Understand and develop cross-functional integrations to enable complex software applications to share and use data while maintaining data integrity.
  • Supervise code updates from junior developers and control commit functions for repository.
  • Define data warehousing needs and develop data modeling and large data management technologies to support full-life-cycle system development.
  • Enable automation of repeatable actions using models to determine system behavior in altered conditions while improving performance.
