The Digital Products Configuration Management (DPCM), formerly known as Software Configuration Management (SWCM), department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital products, including software, COTS and FOSS components, simulations, MBSE models and artifacts, test equipment software, and other program-critical digital assets.

Raytheon's DPCM department is hiring a Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer I, to work onsite Tewksbury, MA.

What You Will Do

  • Perform builds and releases of digital products

  • Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)

  • Maintain, control, and administer of the Digital Products Development Library (DDL) (formerly known as Software Digital Library (SDL) tools

  • Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM, RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under close direction of DPCM Team Lead and/or Section Leader

  • Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control

  • Status Accounting & Configuration Audits

  • Manage digital product development/media libraries

  • Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioning

  • DPCM Tool administration / manages all access to tool applications (i.e. Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS), Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence

  • Administer/manage/use DevSecOps tools like Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo

  • Maintain familiarity with program schedule, budget, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency

  • Coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments

  • Supports coordination of various digital product releases and interfaces with functional and/or program leadership ensuring on-time delivery and supports configuration management execution in multi-environment areas

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)

  • Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C#, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)

  • Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools

  • Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an ***interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
