Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Position Overview

The Software Applications Engineer is a strategic customer-facing role supporting Frontline software products across the Americas and Europe. The position combines customer support, customer training, and technical project management, with an approximate focus of 50% customer support, 25% customer training, and 25% technical project management. This role reports to the Regional Product Manager, Americas and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and customer support for Frontline software products.
  • Deliver customer training and implementation support for new customers, product deployments, upgrades, and new feature introductions.
  • Support sales activities as needed, including technical discussions, customer presentations, and product feature demonstrations.
  • Collect, document, and communicate customer feedback to support product improvements and enhancement planning.
  • Participate in domestic and international travel to support customer engagements, implementations, training, and project activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical subjects clearly to customers and internal teams. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer support, software implementation, technical training, and technical project management.
  • Working knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and related engineering workflows are highly desirable.
  • Administration-level knowledge of Frontline software products, including InCAM Pro, InFlow, InSight, or Genesis, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with high-level programming languages such as Perl or Python and Oracle database management is a plus.
  • 25% travel both domestic and international travel

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
