IDD Medical Billing Specialist
**URGENTLY HIRING**
SCHEDULE: M-F 8:30am-5:00pm
Career Details:
We are seeking a passionate Medicaid Billing Specialist with at least two years of experience in Administrative to join our team of professionals in the Columbus area. The purpose of this classification is to assist with the management of financial & contract activities for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, who reside in an ICF-IDD, or supported living home. Individuals in this classification will possess thorough knowledge and skill in support service administration (SSA), Medicaid billing, and general accounting functions, as well as client advocacy, and public relations.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a long history of billing.
Experience: 1-2 years' related experience; or 4 years related experience in lieu of degree
Working knowledge of DD waiver billing and experience with the software ADVISOR.
Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license.
Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
