Software Development Engineering - Advisor
TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Lead the migration of ETL Informatica code to enhance product development and ensure successful project rollouts. Lead the process for identifying, scoping, delivering, and documenting infrastructure needs for onboarding new integration projects and resolving escalated issues. Oversee code development, deployment, and adherence to SDLC processes to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables. Perform in-depth analysis of business requirements and assess their impact on the infrastructure to drive strategic development decisions. Develop and maintain written code and detailed procedures for Data Warehouse functions, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Understand and optimize the existing Informatica platform architecture to support complex product and solution requirements. Provide support for applications, troubleshoot code issues, and assist with daily cycles. Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Information Technology or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving data warehousing experience using Informatica Cloud, PowerCenter and PowerExchange. Alternatively employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving data warehousing experience using Informatica Cloud, PowerCenter and PowerExchange. Prior experience must include 2 years in the following: ETL development and deployment; working with mainframes, handling EBCDIC files, and streaming datasets including IBM MQ Series and RabbitMQ; working with relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle and DB2; working with AWS including Secure S3 and EBS; working with Cloud databases including Snowflake; code deployments with CI/CD pipelines; and production support.
