Job description

We are looking for a Software Engineering Advisor to help design, build, and improve AI-powered applications and software solutions. In this role, you will work closely with both U.S. and offshore teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. You will help create scalable, secure, and reliable applications while supporting AI model performance, accuracy, and optimization. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will also mentor junior engineers and help drive best practices across the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, test, and support high-quality software solutions and AI-enabled applications.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and reliable systems while considering performance and cost.
  • Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and create effective solutions.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code using modern development practices.
  • Support the planning, testing, deployment, and release of new features and enhancements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure software quality standards are met.
  • Analyze the impact of new requirements and help create technical designs.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions that improve system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore team members to deliver successful projects.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge with team members.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the technologies listed below.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Experience with modern software delivery practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and recommend solution designs.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers and supporting team development.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and improving engineering practices.
