Software Development Engineering - Advisor

TITLE: Software Development Engineering - Advisor

EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES: Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance using Springboot microservices and React.JS. Maintain and improve existing codebases through performance enhancements and lead peer review processes. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software development experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years working in React.JS, Java, C, C#, and C++; 4 years working in Springboot microservices; 4 years working in AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes; 4 years working with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, Kafka, Azure DB, and Oracle; 4 years of RESTful services development using JBoss or Weblogic; 4 years working with caching technology including Coherence and Redis; 4 years working with Agile methodologies; 4 years of code security scanning and vulnerability remediation; 2 years building financial applications using front-end and back-end technologies; 2 years of Full-Stack front-end and back-end development; and 1 year of Splunk and Dynatrace dashboard development.
