Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention
Location: North Wales
Pay Rate: up to 38 per hour (dependent upon experience)

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Children's Social Worker to join a dynamic Assessment & Intervention Team for its client in North Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified social workers who are looking to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Manage a caseload involving routine social work interventions, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Work with children, families, and carers to assess risks and develop support plans that promote safety and wellbeing.
  • Undertake assessments and design care/support plans, including education plans, ensuring they are evidence-based and regularly reviewed.
  • Collaborate with experienced practitioners and receive mentoring to build confidence and autonomy in decision-making.
  • Operate within a duty system on a rota basis, responding to urgent cases and managing crisis situations effectively.
  • Ensure all interventions are proportionate, timely, and aligned with best practice and statutory guidance.
